I am a product designer based in Oakland with a focus on visual design and strategy. I get excited thinking through information architecture, design systems & efficiency, prototyping interactions, and creating designs that work so well their presence is taken for granted.

Previously I've worked in brand storytelling through graphic design for eight years, and spent six years at National Geographic in international project management. I’m recognized as adaptable, resourceful and proactive, a clear communicator, and a leader with effective relationship building skills.

I'm currently unlearning the use of a double space after punctuation. ;)

My mission: make awesome things and get stuff done.

I've been called...

A Mentor

Reasons I am great

I'm an advocate for collaboration. Great design doesn't exist in a vacuum! True teamwork does make the dream work.
I believe design reasoning should be backed up data (I love a good A/B test). Feedback and iteration are critical for success.
I don't take myself too seriously. Some Most people find me funny.
I'm not afraid to make my own path. I have lived in 3 different cities as an adult and know how to start over from scratch.
The first iteration of my portfolio was hand-coded by me! With some help from colleagues. :)
I bleed Cubbie Blue. Chocolate cake is my favorite.
I'm a huge indie music nerd and go to concerts regularly. Find out what I'm listening to here.
